A Flood of Add-Ons?
You may have noticed that I have been writing quite a number of posts featuring Firefox add-ons. The reason is two-fold:
Firstly I have changed my primary browser from Seamonkey to Firefox because Seamonkey no longer properly works with youtube videos since they have made their switch from flv to webm. Nothing a youtube addict like me can live with.I decided that it makes sense to write posts about useful add-ons while I install them as this blog has recently been quite inactive.
Secondly I want to collect a list of useful add-ons in case that I need it gain. I therefore not only write posts about the individual add-ons but also collect their text on a page as static part of this blog.

Instead of the counter provided by Blogger I now use a flag counter. Obviously this means that that the counting re-starts from zero now ☺

Quick note
Today I did not manage to write a real post because I have been too busy cooking goulash (which is a very tasty but also very time-consuming dish) and then I have been improving my German (pirate party related) blog.

What on Earth is a “Fridge Dweller”?
Well, the background to this blog's name is simple: I am a big fan of the Neon Genesis Evangelion character Pen Pen.
Pen Pen, or Pen² (ペンペン) is a "hot spring penguin" and Misato's pet. He lives in a custom refrigerator in Misato's apartment, enjoys taking warm baths, eating whatever food he can get, and going to hot springs. He also appears to have a relatively high degree of intelligence, as he is also shown watching TV and reading newspapers … In the manga, he is the result of a genetics experiment at Misato's former workplace, and she adopted him after the experiment's conclusion rather than let him be euthanised. His wingtips have retractable claws, which normal birds do not have.
