Add-on Update Checker is an add-on for both Firefox and Thunderbird that adds a Tools menu item to check for add-on updates and provides a toolbar icon to do this as well.
The add-on is for those who do not want Firefox to update add-ons without their knowledge (and therefore
turn off automatic add-on updates) but I still wanted to be notified of new
versions.
